I always loved going to the movies. I know I'm not alone because many people all over the world flock to the movies every weekend. Whether you like action packed thrillers or historical movies, we can all agree that the movie theater experience sets it all aside. It could be the huge screen, the darkness, or the perfect surround system that brings the magic to life.
The first time films were ever shown in theatre's, it was for the ground breaking experience of seeing anything in a larger than life and moving format. People were in awe of the incredible new technology that was quickly spreading. In the past century, the movie going experience has evolved time and time again. What once was silent and black and white, is now 3 dimensional with state of the art graphics and sound.
I want to create an open forum to discuss the experience of going to the movies and why some people love it and some people just wait until its on red-box.
